Housed in a grade II listed building, The Grainstore Apartments are a luxury modern apartment block situated on the waterfront opposite the ExCel Exhibition Centre, within six miles of London's West End. London City Airport is one mile from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of five minutes.
Hotel Features.
Originally built in the 19th century as a cargo store, the apartments offer a concierge service and dry cleaning facilities, and transport from the airport can be arranged (for a fee). For those arriving by car, parking is available in the ExCel Conference Centre car- park opposite the hotel (surcharge).

Getting there.
Taxis leave from in front of the terminal building, costing approximately £10 to the hotel. The Apartments also offer an airport transfer service (surcharge). Frequent shuttle bus services operate to and from the airport and Liverpool Street Station (Central, Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City Lines) via Canary Wharf (Jubilee Line, DLR) and to Canning Town station (Jubilee Line, DLR, Silverlink Metro). A one-way ticket costs from £3-£6.50. Local buses also serve the airport. The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) runs from Bank, Tower Gateway, Lewisham and Greenwich to Canary Wharf.
Driving directions. From the airport, follow signs for the Royal Docks, City Airport and ExCel.
