The 1st episode of the New Year and man oh man did we fit a lot in! Not to mention the fact that we’re getting kicked out of our workshop in less than 4 weeks! We have a lot of work to get done before then… but at least this week we finished making the compost toilet, started on the overhead cab storage area, chose the foam for our van bed and lots more. We hope you enjoy sharing in all the fun-loving transformation 😉

  1. I ordered a different model urine separator ( Free Range Designs also from the UK) and the urine leaked around the back of the unit and dripped down into the box which now really stinks, I have to rebuild the entire thing after just 3 months with one person using it. Your model looks much better, but be careful check that nothing is dripping on occasion just to make sure because once urine soaks into the wood its a goner !!

  2. That's one cool toilet, but is there a chance your poop might fall into the pee section…..excuse the crude question!

  3. Great set up and great build. Can you tell me where you got the seat that you put the glitter on for the compost toilet? Thanks.

  4. Get it done kids!! I'm already working on my san diego beach camping and scored a spot for july at the state beach/carlsbad!! Enjoy the day….I"m skiing flagstaff tomorrow. Timmy C. the forever bachelor.

  5. Some nice editing. Digging the glitter loo.

Edit: Ah I see Amazon is as economical with packaging that side of the pond too. A few years ago I moaned to them about it. Their system efficiently channelled the complaint to their Packaging Complaints department run by Bob, their blind, deaf and dumb packaging complaints guru. Last week I received a 2019 paper calendar in a box which could have handled a fridge freezer, so I guess they're still working on it.

  6. You guys quickly became my favorite van lifers. Nice job on the design. Can’t wait to see the finished product. Love the bike slide and sliding toilet.
